Indian Air Force inviting application from Male and Female Indian Citizen for Grant of PC/SSC in Technical Branches of IAF for 79th Aeronautical Engineer Course (AEC) For Men, 51 SSC for Men & Woman Courses commencing in July 2011.
Eligibility Conditions :
Should be an Indian Citizens.
Age : 18 to 28 years as on 01 Jul 2011 i.e. Born between 02 Jul 1983 to 01 Jul 1993 (both dates inclusive).
Educational Qualifications :
Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics){AE (L)} :
Candidates applying for AE (L) branch would be eligible if they have undergone a minimum of four year degree qualification and secured a minimum of 60% marks in all papers put together from a recognized university or cleared section A and B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India or Graduate membership examination of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers by actual studies provided the candidate has studied at least eight subjects out of the list of eighteen subjects mention below :-

The Indian Air Force was officially established on 8 October 1932.Its first ac flight came into being on 01 Apr 1933. It possessed a strength of six RAF-trained officers and 19 Havai Sepoys (literally, air soldiers). The aircraft inventory comprised of four Westland Wapiti IIA army co-operation biplanes at Drigh Road as the "A" Flight nucleus of the planned No.1 (Army Co- operation) Squadron.
