GATE 2011 Notification | Gate Exam 2010

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all India examination administered and conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technology on behalf of the National Coordination Board.
IIT Madras has announced the official notification for GATE 2011. IIT Madras is organizing institute for GATE 2011. Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering – GATE 2011 . Date of Online Examination: 30-01-2011 (Sunday). Date of Offline Examination: 13-02-2011 (Sunday). Sale of Application Form / Online Application commences on 21-09-2010. Mode application and fee :
The applications can be submitted both online and offline but online application is preferred. The fee details are as follows.

Online application: Rs. 800/- for General/OBC candidates and Rs. 400/- for SC/ST/PD (Persons with Disability)
Offline application: Rs. 1,000/- for General/OBC candidates and Rs. 500/- for SC/ST/PD (Persons with Disability)

GATE is conducted through the constitution of eight zones. The zones and the corresponding administrative institutes are:

Zone-2: Indian Institute of Technology Bombay

Zone-3: Indian Institute of Technology Delhi

Zone-4: Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati

Zone-7: Indian Institute of Technology Madras

Zone-8: Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee
