PROJECT – I : DST sponsored project entitled Mineralization and Petrogenesis of Mantle sequence and Cumulates of the Manipur Ophiolite Complex, Indo-Myanmar Orogenic Belt, NE India” under the supervision of Dr. Athokpam Krishnakanta Singh, Scientist ‘C’

POSITION : JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW
No.of Posts : 01
consolidated Pay: Rs. 16,000/- p.m.
Age Limit : Not exceeding 28 years as on 31.12.2010.
Essential Qualification : Throughout 1st class M.Sc./M.Tech. degree in Geology or allied subject with consistently good academic record. Candidates who have cleared NET/GATE,UGC- CSIR combined examination will be given preference. NET/ GATE qualified candidates MUST attach an attested photocopy of NET/GATE qualifications with their application. Knowledge of computer language would be additional merit.

POSITION : RESEARCH ASSOCIATE

Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years as on 31.12.2010
Essential Qualification : Throughout 1st Class M.Tech/M.Sc. in Geology/Geophysics /Physics/Computer Science or Ph.D in any subject with proven research experience of at least three years in the affiliated field of Seismological Data Acquisition/ Analysis, VSAT Communication and VSAT technology.

POSITION : JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW
No.of Posts: 02 (Two)
consolidated Pay: Rs. 12,000/- p.m.
Age Limit : Not exceeding 28 years as on 31.12.2010
Essential Qualification : Throughout 1st Class M.Sc./M.Tech Geology/Geophysics/ Physics/ Computer Science or in any allied subject

POSITION : PROJECT ASSISTANT

consolidated Pay: Rs. 8000/-
Age Limit : Not exceeding 28 years as on 31.10.2010
Essential Qualification : M.Sc. Geophysics/Geology/Physic or B.Sc. (Geology/Physics with minimum 1st or high 2nd Class/Diploma in Electronics/Electrical & Communication. The working knowledge of Computer/Geophysical instrument will be desirable.
